O’Hara’s Launches ‘51st State’ New England Style IPA

O’Hara’s Brewery has launched its first seasonal brew of 2017. ‘51st State’ is a New England style IPA with tropical flavours of grapefruit, passion fruit, apricot and peach. True to the New England IPA style, ‘51st State’ is unfiltered, and this slightly hazy brew delivers an intense citrus aroma while adding a well-balanced yet mild bitterness as a result of a carefully chosen hop blend. Malts are combined to deliver a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. O'Hara's 51st State IPA is available now in select bars, independent off-licences and retailers.

Introducing Guinness Irish Wheat

New to market, Guinness Irish Wheat was created by one of the Open Gate Brewery’s German brewers on a mission to create the best wheat beer outside her native home. Brewed with wheat completely grown in Ireland and fermented with Guinness yeast, this wheat beer has rich and vibrant gold colours bursting through a cloudy, unfiltered haze with subtle clove and spiciness. FOOD PAIRING: Light enough that it won’t overpower delicate dishes like salads, but the fuller mouthfeel allows it to stand up to heftier meat dishes as well. Recommend smoked Gouda, cured meats and spicy foods. APPEARANCE: Light golden with a typical wheat haze. AROMA: Cloves with a hint of banana and citrus. FLAVOUR: Clean, low-bitterness with a subtle clove and banana flavour and hint of zesty citrus. ABV: 5.3%, 8 X 500ml case, sold as individual 500ml bottles.
