Food & beverage (F&B) technology expert, Caternet, has announced it is working with Ireland’s largest group of licensed premises Beannchor Group, in a bid to ensure the company has complete control and consistency over processes, systems and spending, across a range of its restaurants, bars and hotels. Caternet’s food and beverage management system Daily Data, has to date been rolled out to three premises in Ireland: Cuckoo, The Portaferry Hotel and North Down House with a further two imminent implementations planned (one being at The Merchant Hotel in Central Belfast).
Having used Daily Data, to date, Beannchor Group has seen the system imbed, with the current suppliers being integrated to the new process and the system ongoing. As a result the Group will now get consistent pricing across its portfolio, James Sinton, Group Finance Director at Beannchor explains:
“We bought Daily Data by Caternet for the Beannchor Group of restaurants, bars and hotels (including The Merchant), because of its online power, 100% integration, flexibility and the energy of the Caternet people in their pursuit of improvement. Additionally, the opportunity of involving our F&B teams at the beginning of this exciting end to end system development will revolutionise what we do in F&B management across the group’.
Jerry Brand, Managing Director at Caternet said: “The Beannchor Group is a growing business and the battle to get systems and processes consistent across what is a very diverse business, is challenging to say the least. Beannchor needs control over its spend and the level of time spent on certain tasks, whether than means less time spent on admin duties and completing paperwork, time saved for the procurement team or greater capability to shop-around and compare prices in a live-priced, paperless environment – Caternet is proud to be part of this ongoing development phase.
For Caternet, working with Beannchor Group opens up new markets for its’ F&B management system within the hospitality sectors – namely in large-scale hotels, pubs and pizzerias. The long term intention is to roll out Daily Data to Beannchor Group’s 40 premises.
