Urban Seafood Kitchen – to open location no.3
From a stall at Dublin’s Market, to Brussels via London and now Antwerp; the last few years have been a rollercoaster ride for Dublin natives Barry Wallace and Simon Whiteside.
Their success with Bia Mara is testament to their hard work and belief in their brilliant product: An urban seafood kitchen where a wide range of fish is available – over 50 combinations on offer. All of which are complimented with a broad range of Belgian beers. If that’s not enough, their fine selection of homemade ice-cream will be available soon.
This week, they open their third venue in the Belgian city of Antwerp, following up on their success in London and Brussels. A far cry from the hustle and bustle of humble beginnings at the Dublin market where it all began in 2011 selling mackerel and chips.
Antwerp is but another piece of the puzzle that sees these two Dublin natives look at opening in Ghent and Amsterdam…with rumors of a Dublin location in the not too distant future. We look forward to hearing more from these two!
