Dropkick Murphy’s Edinburgh has recently undergone a fantastic new makeover!
During the refit, the building was stripped back to the old original stonework. The re-model also includes a new front entrance, hallway, toilets, and a new wooden floor throughout. There is a brand new bar and stage, with a new seating area to make the most of the live sporting events now showing on a 200inch HD projector screen, with other 60inch HD screens around the venue.
The final touch to the makeover was reframing and mounting the pub’s jersey collection, which is now the largest collection in the UK. The jersey display features a complete collection of county jerseys, a club section, Munster section, Cork section and a Lions section as well as some special collectable items picked up by the owner at charity events including jerseys from Paul O’Connell, Donncha O’Callaghan, Ronan O’Gara, Peter Stringer and Simon Zebo.
