The end of an era is approaching as Dublin’s most glamorous nightclub, Lillie’s Bordellois set to close in January.

Since opening its doors in the early 90s, Lillie’s established itself as the late-night playground of celebrities from here and across the pond. Over the years, the dance floor has been graced by stars such as Rihanna, Julia Roberts, David Hasselhoff, Mick Jagger and Enrique Iglesias, along with home-grown celebrities like Niall Horan, The Cranberries, Laura Whitmore and Cillian Murphy, with Bono even celebrating his 46th birthday at Lillie’s.

Lillie’s Bordello is part of the Porterhouse Group which own venues in Dublin, London and New York.  Renowned for their innovation, the group was one of the first in the country to create their own craft beers and spirits. The Porterhouse Brewing Company has grown massively since it opened as a single Brewpub in 1996 and next year – 2019, the independent brewery will produce more than 24 varieties of beer. The group opened Ireland’s first purpose-built distillery in over 150 years in 2009 which produces some of the country’s best-loved premium tipples; Dingle Gin and Dingle Whiskey.

Although it’s the end of Lillie’s as we know it, stay tuned as the Porterhouse Group has exciting new plans to be revealed in Spring!
