Kilkenny’s longest standing and most successful hurling manager, Brian Cody, is set to address the Irish Pubs Global Awards on 10th October, in The Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin.

Brian’s professional career as a primary school teacher and principal, combined with his outstanding record on the pitch and on the sideline make him one of Ireland’s most fascinating people management and development practitioners. After dinner he will offer valuable insights into developing teams, leadership, and developing communities around the GAA.

Speaking about the Awards, Brian said “The heart of many Irish communities abroad is often focused on the GAA and the unofficial clubhouse, the local Irish pub. I look forward to sharing some of my thoughts on the role of the Irish pub across the world and how they are often intertwined with the local GAA and hearing the views of publicans.”

As many Irish pubs across the world are strong supporters of the local GAA team, Brian Cody is a much anticipated keynote speaker.
