The theme of the Irish Pubs Global Gathering 2018 (Galway 7-9th October) is ‘Famous for Food’, so we are delighted to announce that the second stop on our food odyssey through beautiful Co Clare and the Burren is the award-winning Burren Smokehouse.
Established in Lisdoonvarna in 1989 by owners Birgitta and Peter Curtin, this family-run business exclusively sources Irish quality raw materials to produce superb smoked Irish organic salmon, in their highly acclaimed artisan smokehouse.
As part of our interactive event, attendees will meet with Birgitta and Peter for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the process of smoking fish and enjoy a tasting of the famous Burren smoked salmon.
Following on from the first stop on our food tour, at shellfish producers the Redbank Food Company, participants at the Gathering 2018 will come away with exclusive insights and knowledge in how to feature seafood in their businesses.
